#1 PRESIDENT LINCOLN – EQUALITY FOR ALL

“It is said at this time less than two percent (2%) of the people control ninety percent of the wealth of America.”

— President LlNCOLN – Who Fought the Enemies of Liberty

Lincoln

“Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.…dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal… and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”

— President LlNCOLN (R) –November 19, 1863 Gettysburg Address

LlNCOLN decried “the effort to place capital on an equal footing with LABOR in the structure of government.”  He thought capital should be TAXED HIGHER!

“Inasmuch as most good things are produced by LABOR, it follows that all such things of right belong to those whose LABOR has produced them. But it has so happened, in all ages of the world, that some have LABORED, and others have without LABOR enjoyed a large proportion of the fruits. This is wrong, and should not continue. To secure to each LABORER the whole product of his LABOR, or as nearly as possible, is a worthy object of any good government.”

— President LlNCOLN (R) From his notes about tariff policy, scribbled down on December 1, 1847.

“The legitimate object of government, is to do for a community of people, whatever they need to have done, but cannot do, at all, or cannot, so well do, for themselves — in their separate, and individual capacities.”

 — President LlNCOLN (R) July 1, 1854

“When we were the political sIaves of KlNG GEORGE, and wanted to be free, we called the maxim that “all men are created equal” a self evident truth; but now …we have become so GREEDY to be MASTERS that we call the same maxim “a self evident LlE.”

 — President LlNCOLN (R) –August 15, 1855 Letter to GEORGE ROBERTSON

“We do wish to aIIow the humbIest man an equaI chance to get RlCH with EVERYBODY eIse.”

— President LlNCOLN (R) — March 6, 1860 Speech at New Haven, CT

“We have, as all will agree, a free Government, where every man (WOMAN) has a right to be equal with every other man (WOMAN). In this great struggle, this form of Government and every form of human right is endangered if our enemies succeed.”

— President LlNCOLN (R)  — August 22, 1864 Speech to the 164th Ohio Regiment

The restoration of the Rebel States to the Union must rest upon the principle of civil and political equality of both races; and it must be sealed by general amnesty.

— President LlNCOLN (R) –January 1864, Letter to James S. Wadsworth

“We shall not fail-if we stand firm, we shall not fail. Wise counsels may accelerate, or mistakes delay it, but, sooner or later, the victory is sure to come.”

— President Lincoln (R)

SO WHY DO BANKSTER and HEDGE FUNDSTERS’ PAY A MAXIMUM TAX OF ONLY 15% WHEN THE REST OF US HAVE TO PAY MORE THAN TWICE THAT?

 — LINCOLN would have a BIG PROBLEM WITH THIS!

LINCOLN would be so ASHAMED of the Republican PARTY!  Lincoln ran as a 3rd Party that WON with 39% of the vote in 1860’s!

A PARTY NOW IN DEEP DECLINE!

BRIEF PARTIAL HISTORY OF LINCOLN AND GOP

When Lincoln first joined the GOP it was led by men — then considered radicals — whose primary agenda was to free the slaves. Lincoln guided it towards being a moderate progressive party with a wide appeal to the majority of Americans, which helped him win the 1860 presidential election. Of course, he was also inadvertently aided by the 1860 Democrats splitting when conservative Southern Democrats attempted to hijack their party in demanding slavery be allowed to expand nationwide. In observing the Democrats’ split, Lincoln became very aware of the dangers of a group seizing control of an entire party. When Radical Republicans frequently attempted to strong-arm Lincoln into following their policies alone and demonized conservative Republicans, Lincoln made it very clear he and the party were responsible to all Americans:

Today’s Republican Party is not the same as the one that elected Lincoln. Its current leaders engage in failed ideas like those championed by those union-destroying Democrats.Clearly our current Republicans have a closer connection to the Democrats of the Civil War while today’s Democrats have much more in common with the Republicans of Lincoln’s time. The Republicans now believe in a country ruled by the rich and the political extremists, and are against the values that once enlightened our vision of a government for all the people.

Americans must not stand by idly – We must take a stand – it is part of our civic duty and our social contract – get elected.

Nameless, faceless “others” are ROBBING US of our Wealth and Freedoms

Criminals have infiltrated our political parties and hold the 99% hostage.

Let’s take over, you and I – work on campaigns; help draft strategy & platform issues, write speeches, and most important, draft legislation, run for town council, get on zoning & planning, be the economic development committee, run local candidates to school boards to insist on better lessons, more science & math, retrofit schools with solar & provide real food to our children.

Real power = Controlling the budget and developing our home towns.

We know how to balance a budget and if taxes need to be raised, then do it – fairly, in a balanced way.

The Balanced Budget Fairness Act – change how we spend Middle Class money.

      • $1 we give to a corporation $1 goes into education.
      • $1 to defense $1 to health & welfare.
      • $1 to oil, gas, nuclear & coal, $1 to solar, wind and renewables.
      • $1 to animal based agriculture, $1 to plant based agriculture.

GOP pillages of our public land and national resources

GOP stashes loot out of the country to DODGE taxes

While liberal and progressive voters were busy raising our families, building our businesses.

      1. GOP = was busy BRIBING OUR REPRESENTATIVES and BUYING elections
      2. GOP = cut environmental protections
      3. GOP = Defunding education
      4. GOP = FOUGHT true equality
      5. GOP = Made it impossible for our kids to afford college
      6. GOP = Set it up SO WALL STREET could pillaged our 401ks for pocket change.

We must TAKE BACK AMERICA FROM THE CRIMINALS!
