If I were a Goldman executive I’d be giddy looking at this protest. In fact, I’d probably help fund it. I am sure Goldman Sachs is shaking in its boots right now.

When I see a march against banker crime this big, then I’ll become optimistic.

Powerful people like to direct protest energy into issues that don’t threaten them.

Shows big protests can only happen on the most marginal, unthreatening of issues. Big problem.

A march for the middle class – Now that would be interesting. But class politics is far more threatening than identity politics.
