NYT Harwood = Instead ignores that and focuses on the rather MINOR GOP TALKING POINTS = Arguing Wealth Redistribution!
Harwood’s piece is an artful cognitive linguistic Conservative attack on the White House using BS Redistribution to coverup MASSIVE CORPORATE FRAUD!
Harwood framed the public discourse with his propaganda piece = “System 1 thinking” to win over the public in adopting CORPORATE CONSERVATIVE values.
Values trump mere facts presented without the values that make them meaningful.
Progressives must learn Honest values-based framing and state their real believed values clearly with facts = The opposite of PROPAGANDA AND SPIN.
Framing issues metaphorically impacts on unconscious thought of the People. This is not generally understood by Progressives who assumes that all thought is conscious, fact-based, logical, and literal.
Conservatives have successfully reframed economic terms to fit their values in public discourse. TRICKLE DOWN FOR EXAMPLE!
Progressives are usually not trained in this kind of logic; Frame-based logic or metaphorical logic, frame semantics, cognitive linguistics = the real brain mechanism that allows the conservative communication theory to be effective.
Conservatives frame language to fit conservative values so they dominate public debate by changing the public’s unconscious brains:
Activate a frame circuit in the brain = strengthens future activation to become eventually permanent by using using KEY WORDS for conservative values.
Progressives naively use Conservatively reframed words that strengthen the conservative value system in the brains of the public.
Liberals think all they have to do is state the facts and the public will be convinced rationally. But while facts are crucial they must be framed in moral terms to make moral sense and a moral impact.
Liberals must stop using conservative framing words.
In NYT front page John Harwood used manipulative Conservative KEY WORDS and a smattering of facts to purposefully misleading the public = “redistribution” = moral issue.
Conservatives believe = “Using my money to pay for someone else” is unfair
Conservatives believe = the Redistribution word is IMMORAL for 40+ Years
Conservatives = Use the word “redistribution” to activates the conservative framing for sympathy in their cause.
Liberals use of the word “redistribution” activates the conservative frame and helps the conservative crusade to undermine progressive values

Conservative and Liberals have TWO different moral views of democracy.
Liberal idea = Founding Human Rights = citizens care about other citizens and through government provides public resources for all = Life, liberty, Freedom, and the pursuit of happiness requires roads, bridges, public education, hospitals, a patent office, a national bank, a justice system, controlling the flow of interstate commerce + NOW internet, satellite communications, the power grid, food safety monitoring, government research, and health care = public resources citizens cannot live reasonable lives without or their lives would be in jeopardy.
Conservatives believe democracy = the “liberty” to pursue their own interests without the government regulating and standing in their way or helping them (BUT 98% OF WELFARE GOES TO CORPORATIONS AND THE RICH).
Conservatives believe = If you can’t afford health care then DIE = No one deserves help
Conservatives believe = Individual responsibility and NO social responsibility.
Conservatives believe = Health care is product like a flat-screen TV.
Liberal idea of democracy = the flow of wealth should guarantee the affordability of Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and that includes health care as a basic moral principle. Fairness in the flow of wealth = Fair Wages and Salaries including enough to guarantee adequate health care.
Conservative frame for redistribution = Take money the Workers earned and “redistribute” to the no-work slackers
Liberals believe = productivity has risen greatly while salaries have not – And neither has the minimum wage.
Conservatives believe = Make it on your own or FAIL AND DIE
Conservatives believe = Public resources making you weak = No incentives to work = Public resources make the workers pay for the slackers.
Liberals believe = Pensions are delayed payments of wages for work already done, and taking away pensions is theft.
Conservatives believe in low wage slave labor to exploit for wealth building for the few.
Liberals believe = Employment is the purchase of labor by an employer with a negotiated price for the labor and in many cases Unions are necessary for labor to have a voice in those negotiations.
Conservatives believe = Money previously made was made properly and honestly despite mountains of evidence of MASSIVE CORPORATE FRAUD!
Liberals believe = Most of the wealth in the past decades has flowed to the 1% mostly to the O.OOOO13% or 425 Billionaires.
Conservatives believe = Tax money for public resources is “redistribution.”
Liberals believe = Wealth redistribution to the 1% violates the most fundamental of American principles.
Liberals believe = Obamacare moves toward reform toward a moral protection of the founding principles
Conservatives believe = all public resources should be banned = CLOSE GOVERNMENT
