FACT: US = 23,826 total applicants with 15,937 women andchildren under 12 (67%) + 25.5% Men age 18+ = Not all 23,826 refugees to U.S. will be admitted.

U.S. refugees come from people still remaining in the Middle East = Turkey, Lebanon, and Jordan are largely women and children = 67% are children 12 and women.

FACT: Most Syrians are Sunni refugees = RESULT of bombardments in war and fleeing the fighting of those not with the Assad regime = Much of the fighting has been in heavily Sunni areas. + Much of the Sunni-controlled territory is controlled by ISIS and nobody wants to live under ISIS

FACT: 1,925 Syrian refugees processed in US in 2015 = Data by Refugee Processing Center with 1,275 people placed in GOP states and 650 in Democratic governors states = Nearly twice as many states have Republican governors (31 states GOP Versus 18 Democratic) + GOP States average 41 Syrian refugees Versus 36 in DEM states = Based on family ties + Jobs availability = Examples are Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania and California, where there are small pockets of Syrian Americans.
