Entire cities are to be destroyed!

City of London will collapse!

ADVANTAGE FOR SOME: God takes good people from earth to sky heaven over seven years of end times suffering. But there is also even better news as God’s people can avoid the end-times by being RAPTURED when God suddenly removes people from earth—taking them up into heaven. Paul wrote, “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Michelle Bachmann can’t wait: “Rather than seeing this (End Times) as a negative, we need to rejoice, Maranatha Come Lord Jesus, His day is at hand.” And like Michelle, three out of four evangelicals believe Christ will return soon.

Why would anyone want the END TIMES, when the Bible predicts it will be mass murder, hellfire, pain, death, suffering, and worse than anything the world has ever seen?  Here is some of  their logic:

#1 Their “escapist fantasy” is they will NOT be around for the worst of it. Modern American fundamentalist Christians believe in something that has never before been part of Christian tradition: the Rapture (first highlighted in the 19th century) when they will be whisked off into heaven before the ugly parts of the end times begin.

#2 The end of the world would mean they get to have the last word. One thing that’s indisputable is that if the apocalypse does come and it unspools as Christians predicted, they will have won the argument!  Plus obviously their will be lots of cheap real estate.

#3 It provides a distraction and excuse to avoid the real problems in the world. The appeal of apocalypse fantasies is mainly that they help believers avoid the fear of death, like Bachmann. It is great propaganda and a powerful sales tool for evangelicals.

#4 It offers a fun time to watch the non-believers be punished so the rightful rulers of all mankind can takeover. As Pat Robertson said about World War III and the end times, “sorrow and bloodshed that will have no end soon, for the world is being torn apart, and my kingdom shall rise from the ruins of it.” This eagerness to see the non-believers punished is so strong in the Christian right that many are unwilling to wait until the so-called “Tribulation” and immediately blame “pagans and the abortionists and the feminists and the gays and the lesbians” for every disaster.

GOOD NEWS-BAD NEWS: Jesus said, “I tell you on that night, two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.” (Luke 17:34-35) – “left behind” in HELL on earth. While many Christians will be left in HELL on earth, Jesus promised positions of authority in his kingdom for believers who wisely handle responsibility.

#1 Many suffer in earthly hell & feel robbed.
#2 End-times will bring the worst suffering the world has ever seen.
#3 Jesus said, “For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.” — Matthew 24:21
#4 Massive global conflict & persecution of Christians
#5 The world will be a miserable place.
#6 Jesus said, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.”
#7 Jesus said, “There will be famines and earthquakes — All the beginning of birth pains.
#8 You will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.”  — Matthew 24:7-9
#9 It will be far worse than the great flood and the destruction of Sodom as people go from eating, drinking, and being merry to Absolute HELL.
#10 Many Christians will go through this HELL on earth.
#11 Jesus explained what would happen to those who miss the rapture. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. — Matthew 24:50-51
#12 At the early rapture, unprepared servants of God will be left-behind on earth to suffer alongside unbelievers. Unprepared Christians will act with selfishness and contempt.
#13 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. — Matthew 24:12-13
#14 So you also must always be ready, as END TIMES could come at any hour when you do not expect him. — Matthew 24:42-44
