You can’t communicate with your family. If you don’t have someone to send you money you can’t even buy stamps to write home.” + $4 medical co-pay if we make a sick call + Medication is $4 + $16/visit + If you get $20 from a family member, the state will take $16 off the top to pay for the visit = $4 to spend at a jacked-up canteen = MOST ARE IN DEBT

FACT: FORCE + BRUTALITY USED TO MAKE PEOPLE WORK AS SLAVES AND LIVE IN SLAVERY CONDITIONS = SLAVE EMPIRE OF FOR-PROFIT McDonald’s PRISONS = HORRIFIC BEATINGS BY GUARDS = “up against the wall [with my hands cuffed behind me]. 10 officers started swinging, punching and hitting me with sticks. They knocked my legs out from under me. My face hit the floor. They stomped on my face. They sent me to the infirmary to hide what they did, for 30 days = Looking in the mirror I could not recognize my facial features.
