SHARMINI PERIES, EXEC. PRODUCER, TRNN: The Glen Ford Report is coming to us from Plainfield, New Jersey. Glen, update US on ISIS related to President Obama’s coming speech on Wednesday. So what are you working on?

FORD: We’ve been working on this for the last three years. We’ve been predicting ISIS, the U.S. and its allies have been using as proxies — foot soldiers in the imperial wars in North Africa and the Middle East.

FORD: We said ISIS proxies would turn against USA 3+ years ago and now it is dramatically transpiring. It’s now clear that the U.S. is going to try to turn this anti-ISIS military campaign–a campaign that President Obama seems physically very uncomfortable with (for some very fundamental reasons)–into a renewed war against the Syrian government. And he has already telegraphed that it will be a long war.

FORD: Long wars = Very expensive for American Middle Class over 3-year campaign. In short, under the guise of a air war against ISIS, deep into Syria to become the air force for those so-called moderate Syrian rebels, forces that actually don’t exist. = Air force like USA + NATO did for ISIS in Libya = Created a massive disaster a few years ago.

FORD: Moderate forces on the ground don’t actually exist = IMAGINARY PEOPLE
I’m sure they will appear if USA gives them the $500 million that Obama has set aside for them pending congressional approval.

FORD: But this USA policy is a bankrupt policy = Doubling down on a Bankrupt Policy as it has collapses = USA has no other choice for toppling Assad. USA and its allies don’t have any natural allies as foot soldiers in the region. Everybody hates the USA.

FORD: To be associated with the USA is treason for Muslims in the Middle East. So you have pay Contract Killers to attack the people that you want to attack, which is the secular governments of Libya, now destroyed, and of Syria, which the U.S. is in the process of attempting to destroy.

FORD: So the project continues with we must stop-ISIS for humanitarian anti-beheading reasons — But the USA mission is still the same. = USA will absolutely try to act as an Air Force for HIRED Syrian moderates (CONTRACT KILLERS) over the next three years in Syria. = Using ISIS as an excuse.

FORD: Oddly, NYT + WaPo + All other corporate Media say somehow Assad is associated with ISIS, that Assad avoids attacking ISIS, and ISIS avoids attacking Assad. This, of course, is ridiculous and NOT based on any facts. Oddly, it’s the NEW CORPORATE political line they’re putting forward to justify these MERCENARY FORCES that they are assembling and paying, supposedly to attack ISIS, but really to attack the Assad government = The real TARGET all along.

FORD: Assad = Real reason USA + QATAR + SAUDIS armed and financed ISIS HIRED MURDERERS. = Godfathered by USA + Turks + Qataris + Saudis + NATO in general.

PERIES: Such horrific depictions of beheading of American citizens — Is there a more rational response to these kinds of incidences?

FORD: Beheading is a no more painful MURDER than being incinerated by U.S. drones or manned aircraft or just conventional weapons of any kind. USA leads the world in industrial killings. Nobody wants to be INCINERATED by DRONE or to be beheaded = (AWFUL CHOICE like a GRADE “B” MOVIE)

PERIES: If by some act of fait you were able to whisper some common sense in Obama’s ear before the upcoming address on Wednesday, what would you be saying to him?

FORD: ISIS is a huge story — not about the savagery and beheading that ISIS’s troops engaged in. The real story is the 40 year long U.S.-Saudi strategy of using HIRED ISIS-AQ KILLERS as proxies in their wars. That concept is collapsing before our very eyes. Best example of FAILURE is total collapse in Libya.
