CBS DAVIES FIASCO – NOV 7, 2013 STATUS
CBS “60 Minutes” knows Benghazi private security officer, Dylan Davies, “misled” them about Benghazi.
“’60 Minutes’ has learned of new information that undercuts the account told to us by Morgan Jones of his actions on the night of the attack on the Benghazi compound. We are currently looking into this serious matter to determine if he misled us, and if so, we will make a correction.”

Davies told CBS News correspondent Lara Logan that he reached the Benghazi compound while under attack, scaled a 12-foot wall, knocked a terrorist to the ground with his rifle and saw U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens dead in the hospital.
Davies previously told the FBI a different story that he was not at the US compound on the night of Sept. 11, 2012 and did not witness anything — contradicts his so-called “eyewitness” statements on CBS.
Oct. 31, 2013 the Washington Post revealed that Davies told his superior at security firm Blue Mountain Group on Sept. 14, 2012, that he couldn’t reach the compound because of roadblocks, returned home, and did not see Stevens in the hospital.
Nov 2, 2013 Davies told The Daily Beast he had lied to his employer because he was told not to head to the compound and that the CBS version was the truth – Not the FBI or Formal Report version.
So Davies, alias “Morgan Jones”, lied on air and in his book, The Embays House.
