GOP = Centralized state = militarist against international confederation

GOP = Recognizes no rights for himself but only duties – eternal devotion to his country, of living only to serve it, and of joyfully sacrificing himself and even dying for it = Song Dumas dedicated to the Girondins: “To die for one’s country is the finest, the most enviable fate.”

GOP = Against enduring liberty = declaration of permanent warfare

GOP = Says America formed by an act of violence = blessed by institutionalized religion

GOP = Violence regarded as a historic exclusive and supreme right and supported by such divine consecration

GOP = For an absolute negation of the rights of all other States – treaties only for own political interest.

GOP = Party of the South wants secession = No friends of freedom and humanity

South = nearly overthrew and destroyed the finest political organization that ever existed in history for social founded upon the forced labor of slaves = Ancient World View that perished through slavery,  

GOP = Political republicans = Not supposed to be egotistic in his own behalf but egotist in behalf of his fatherland which he must value above himself, all other individuals, all nations, all humanity = Ignore international justice = Country Right or Wrong = 1st Place

GOP = Country must dominate and crush all the foreign nations by its power and glory = Constant conquests though centuries prove that military triumphs must inevitably lead to Caesarism and loss freedom.

GOP = Liberty is an empty word = a willing slave and devoted victim of the State and always always ready to sacrifice his own liberty, and willingly sacrifice the liberty of others = necessarily leading to despotism. 

GOP = Rigid patriotism = cruel justified as part of the fight for the nation

GOP = A quasi-religious phenomenon that belongs to the ancient past of WARIOR STATES

DEFINE POLITICAL REPUBLICANS:  NATIONALISM AND VIOLENCE

Socialist republicans = detests the grandeur, power, and military glory of the State 

Socialist republicans = Sets liberty and the general welfare above Conquest

Socialist republicans = federalist in the internal affairs of the country desires international cooperation with a majority of states and a spirit of justice and a solidarity in action. 

Socialist republicans = insists upon his positive rights to life and to all of its intellectual, moral, and physical joys. He loves life, and he wants to enjoy it in all its abundance. 

Socialist republicans = Duties to society are indissolubly linked with his rights and live in accordance with justice.  But he will never say that the life of humanity should be a sacrifice or that death is the sweetest fate.

Socialist republicans = Liberty is linked to the general welfare = Shared humanity of all

Socialist republicans = The State is a mere instrument, a servant of his well-being and of everyone’s liberty.

Socialist republicans = Idea of justice = Gain the real fruit of own labor = frank and human egotism of living for oneself openly and without fine-sounding phrases 

Socialist republicans = By living life in accordance with justice, serves the entire society’s welfare and his own

Socialist republicans = Is natural, moderately patriotic, but nevertheless always very human = whether positivist or atheist, belongs to the future.

GOP and Socialist republicans do no understood each other = diametrically opposite directions.
