Obama’s 2015 budget =  A “political treatise” per Wall Street Journal = Partisan Thinking

WaPo = Says that “Obama will call for an end to the era of austerity that has dogged much of his presidency and to his efforts to find common ground with Republicans.”

White House budget show no signs of such broad moral sweep = “end of the era of austerity.” 

Obama’s proposals don’t match up to an “end of the era of austerity.”

Do Obama + his advisers understand what a grave mistake AUSTERITY HAS BEEN?

WHITE HOUSE = President’s plan spending increases are “fully paid for” = AUSTERITY

WHITE HOUSE = Abandonment “chained CPI” for Social Security = A welcome CHANGE BUT WH SAYS IT STILL ON THE TABLE = AUSTERITY!

SOCIAL SECURITY = NEVER CONTRIBUTED TO THE DEBT OR DEFICIT = BUT GOP DID ROBBING IT UNDER BUSH

WHITE HOUSE BUDGET = Shapes up like a “let’s act as if nothing happened” budget = Ignores the ongoing wreckage from the 2008 BANKER DRIVEN financial crisis.

OBAMA = 1% INCREASE for Federal employees after extended pay freeze = Austerity

WHITE HOUSE BUDGET = $56 billion in added spending = 50% in defense spending

But Defense Department = Proposed troop levels at lowest point since before WW II

Defense Department = Bases will be closed

Defense Department = Pensions and other military benefits will be CUT = AUSTERITY = Reduce consumer spending 

Defense = Major COSTS of F-35 + Pegasus tanker + new Navy frigate = STAYS

REDUCE INEQUALITY = Expensive MULTINATIONAL weapons systems should be cut while troops incomes SHOULD INCREASE = Engines of equality = Benefits and Pay = END TRICKLE DOWN LIES AND BULL!

Defense Budget = precisely backwards for post-austerity jobs and wages = AUSTERITY

Cutting without adding stimulus spending elsewhere = A bad situation worse = Austerity

WHITE HOUSE BUDGET = Still call for means-testing Medicare benefits = austerity holdover = far more efficient fiscally to simply APPLY FICA TAX to the wealthy.

WaPo = “new corporate tax rules aimed at preventing companies from moving profits overseas to avoid (DODGE) US taxes.” = Sounds GREAT but details are needed. 

White House = Curb IRA tax breaks for high-earning households = A good idea

What we don’t see = A true “post-austerity” budget = Bold action on the crises still gripping millions of Americans = Joblessness + Wage stagnation + Social mobility + OUTRAGEOUSLY un-affordability higher education + REPAIR of infrastructure 

AUSTERITY = A PROVEN DECEPTION AND DISASTER = SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED

If AUSTERITY is OVER = TELL USE WHY AND WHO DID IT = WHERE’S activist government to take its place.

Post-austerity budget = MUST HAVE PROPOSALS to SOLVE INEQUALITY + the critical problems our nation still faces = Embrace time-tested methods for restoring jobs and growth – OTHERWISE IT IS JUST BULL!
