ISRAEL USES toxic chemical irritants (tear gas), stun grenades (sound bombs), pepper spray, maloderant (skunk) water canon spray, and hand-held batons against peaceful demonstrators + Sometimes Israel uses lethal force = Live Gunfire + Rubber-coated metal bullets MURDERING PROTESTORS + Wounding of hundreds of others + GASES cause people breathing difficulties and putting them at risk of suffocation + Set House Fires +DO Extensive damage to vital water supplies + Israelis fire “skunk water” at homes, causing damage and leaving families with a sickening smell that remains for days afterwards + Declare areas as closed military zones + Close roads into and out of villages with military checkpoints + Harassed by Israeli soldiers + ISRAELI Army frequently arrests local political activists and human rights defenders, and conducts night raids in the village, many times arresting children accused mostly of stone- throwing at Israeli troops = Letter sent by Amnesty International Israel to the Israeli Defense Minister defined all of this.
ISRAELI Army’s Repressive and Restrictive Policies and Practices amounts to collective punishment = Entire Population is penalized for protests against Israeli rule. = Collective punishment is prohibited under international humanitarian law + a serious violation of international human rights law by Israeli soldiers repeatedly including unlawful killings.
Israeli forces use excessive, often lethal, force against Palestinians who pose no threat to lives and Soldiers do so with impunity WITH NO HOPE OF JUSTICE + Israeli forces for decades routinely violate international human rights law and the law of occupation by unlawfully killing and injuring civilians, including children, who are posing no threat to their lives or those of others.
Amnesty International calls on Israeli authorities to:
#1 Rescind Military Order 101 + Military Order 1651 + Fully respect the right of Palestinians to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly.
#2 Israeli Army/Police comply fully with the UN Code of Conduct for Law Enforcement Officials and the UN Basic Principles on the Use of Force and Firearms by Law Enforcement Officials. = officials must respect and protect human dignity and maintain and uphold the human rights of all persons.
#3 Ensure law enforcement officials apply non-violent means before use of force = Use only if non-violent means have proven ineffective = Strict proportional actions only honoring the right to life and the prohibition of torture and other ill-treatment + Minimize risk of injury and death + All governments must ensure that arbitrary or abusive use of force and firearms by law enforcement officials is punished as a criminal offense under their laws.
#4 Prohibit firing of live ammunition and rubber/plastic-coated metal bullets unless it is strictly unavoidable for fully trained firearms officers under effective regulation, monitoring and control to use lethal means of force to protect life in self-defense
#5 Prohibit use of toxic chemical irritants and unwarranted injury and death to persons.
#6 Prohibit baton blows aimed at a person’s head, neck and throat, spine, lower back, solar plexus, knees and ankles.
#7 Establish a transparent independent body of medical, scientific, and judicial experts to review and report on the safe development and dangers of non-lethal incapacitating weapons and “less lethal” weapons capable of causing death or injury, as well as arbitrary, abusive and excessive force.
#8 Ensure all officers have appropriate moral, psychological and physical qualities for the effective exercise of their functions and receive continuous and thorough professional human rights based training.
#9 Sign, ratify and strictly implement the Arms Trade Treaty for strict control of all imports, exports, transits, trans-shipments and brokering of all conventional arms
#10 Publicly disclose all existing use of force regulations and any other rules relevant to policing demonstrations in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
#11 Ensure that all war crimes and serious human rights violations are Prosecuted.
#12 Conduct independent, impartial and prompt investigations into all reports of Palestinian civilians killed or seriously injured by Israeli forces
#13 Provide all victims of Israeli crimes under international law with full reparations = Financial compensation + Other forms of reparation
#14 Israeli forces MUST protect Palestinian civilians and their property against violence by Israeli settlers. = Especially Palestinian schoolchildren and other civilians in areas where there is a danger of settler violence.
#15 Sign and ratify, without reservations, international human rights treaties including the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), and international humanitarian law treaties including the Geneva Conventions.
#16 Ensure that the bodies of individuals who have been killed by security forces in the West Bank receive autopsies.
#17 Suspend transfers to Israel of munitions, weapons, and related equipment including crowd control weapons and devices, training and techniques until substantive steps have been taken by Israel to achieve accountability for previous violations. This recommendation is particular relevant to the USA, as the largest foreign source of supply of weapons, munitions, police equipment and military aid to Israel.

MOAS = “He talks about recycling cups and giving his employees good benefits. It is all a public relations bullsh*t … a smoke and mirrors game that only a fool would believe.”
MOAS = “He [Schultz], along with McDonald’s and CVS, are among the worst offenders in the S&P-500. Schultz is paid nearly $10,000 an hour — that is 1,000 times what his US employees get paid and more than 10,000 times what his bean-pickers are paid.”
MOAS = Downgraded shares of Cisco on April 22 from Buy to Hold. In his note, he reported that his November upgrade was based on the market over-reaction, with shares down ten percent on “disappointing new and concerns.”
MOAS = CISCO “Now trading at 12X earnings with single-digit EPS and revenue growth, I can no longer leave my highest recommendation attached to this name — now striking distance from its five-year high and 50% off its low from July 2012.”
MOAS = Still finds Cisco “attractive” due to the company’s 3.3 percent dividend yield, $47 billion in cash, and $17 billion in debt.
MOAS = Too much goes into the pocket of a CEO making $500,000 a year. = “I did a lot of research. And I chose 24 charities that scored the highest marks on different charity ratings websites.” = “…are the most efficient and best, well-run and highly regarded.” = “…can give money to these organizations with peace of mind” + “…high a level degree of confidence that they can have that their money is actually going to helping people that are in need.”

MOAS = APPLE: “Why would you want, as a consumer or an investor, to support a company that is not treating their employees properly?” = Consumers have more power than they realize. = adjusting their spending habits. = “You have more power when you go to the shopping mall than you have when you vote in an election.”
MOAS = “if we get one, two, three, four percent of the population to cut back on what they’re spending on Amazon and Apple, those companies will change. They will not change…until they realize it is more costly not to change.”

MOAS = “People are doing jobs (in Asia) that most people in America would choose death over (Asian assembly line workers). Apple should be leading by example and not making excuses” and treating its employees better.

MOAS = On tobacco: “People are confused by the marketing gimmicks..They can’t get away with it in this country anymore, so they’re moving overseas and targeting naiive people in third-world countries.”
MOAS = “There is pressure to act in immoral and unethical ways.” = Could have blacklisted hospitals, banks and energy companies, stating that there is no company or sector that is clean when you have extreme forms of capitalism.
MOAS = “When somebody reaches position of power (like Apple executives), they probably stepped on people along the way. You have to have a very aggressive nature.”
MOAS = Is Pro-Capital, but that we need more focus on the poor and those taken advantage of. = USA is “Richest country in the world – what did we do and how did we behave to get to that point?”

There are some who make $10,000 or $20,000 an hour or CEOS who make $200,000+ an hour or some Hedge Funders get $2,000,000+ per Hour for running scams.
MOAS = Encourage investors and consumers to cut back on their use of and support of these EVIL Corporations
MOAS = Crackdown on TAX-DODGING FRAUD = A form of piracy capitalism = They DUMP their BILLIONS in some port of convenience such as Luxembourg = Exploitative capitalism that we had a century ago.

MOAS = Decades from now, people will be in disbelief when they hear about the way we live today — just as many of us today are in disbelief at how people lived centuries ago. Slavery was accepted in this country just 150 years ago and now USA based Multinationals use slave labor around the world to MAXIMIZE LOOTING PROFITS!
MOAS = Demands Redistribution of wealth = For those having a problem try switching places for a few years with someone in the services sector who lives in a bad neighborhood and is taking home less than $500 a week. No person working 40 hours a week should be forced to live below or near the poverty line.
MOAS = The land of opportunity is NOT a land of equal opportunity. It is easy for people earning $200,000 or $2 million or $20 million a year (after taxes) to justify in their own minds that they are worth this kind of money and expect others to live on $20,000/ year. There is NO way to justify this selfishness.
MOAS = USA Maybe we are the richest country in the world, but they say money is the root of all evil and we got to this # 1 ranking in part via evil, immoral and unethical behavior of Multinationals in this capitalist society.
MOAS = No one in this country should be earning less than $15 per hour. 1960’s Minimum wage with inflation would be $22/Hour in 2014. But for some small businesses a $15 minimum wage would cause a loss and workers would lose their jobs. SO, that is why there needs to be a redistribution of wealth in this country by eliminating TAX-DODGING Loopholes + TAX HAVENS + New and higher taxes on the RICH = That revenue directly transferred to anyone working for less than $15 an hour.
MOAS = Everyone must live on a decent income but 50+% of the world’s people live on $4/Day or less = 25% below $2/Day
MOAS = Successful Wealth Redistribution = 25+% increase in INCOMES of the 50% living in EXTREME POVERTY by 2020 = 6 YEARS.
MOAS = Wealthy People rarely get to the top of the mountain without stepping on people along the way and disregarding ethics, values and morals. = That is how we got to the top of the (GDP per capita) mountain = Apple, CVS, Amazon, Starbucks, Walmart and Philip Morris to name a few — got to where they are.
