Solyndra = GOPs calls a big Obama scandal on solar panel manufacturing and $Millions in loans.

Solyndra = GOP made synonymous with government failures

Solyndra = GOP STORY = One big fat lie = USA Energy Department’s Loan Programs Office (LPO) = NOW turning a profit on track to make at least another $5 Billion.

LPO = Created to invest in green energy technologies and some nuclear energy projects and Solyndra was 1% of its portfolio = Lent total of $34.2 billion to speed development of clean-energy technology.

LPO = ONLY 2% Loan Default rate = Just $780 Million offset by $810 Million in interest collected. = $30 Million in the black from a program never expected to make money when created in 2005.

LPO = Congress set aside $10 billion to cover losses.

LPO = One hell of a success story = BUT Conservatives + Fox + Right wing talk radio = Still insist its a total failure.

LPO = Recently Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), vice chair of House Energy Committee, declared that “most of these companies are bankrupt and are no longer in existence, and the taxpayer is left holding the bag.”

Blackburn + GOP = Absolute blatant liars in Congress = Refuse to look at the FACTS that LPO is a success story.

GOP = HATES existence of LPO that supports green energy and new innovative technology including funding for nuclear plants and big corporations like NRG.
