Mercenaries = must MINIMIZE COST TO MAXIMIZE PROFITS! = Use less resources to accomplish a task versus saving a team members life = Dreadful civilian suffering by a very large number of civilians. = You know that fighting a mercenary war is illegal and you have to be prepared for the consequences of overthrowing a government

They saw brothers and fathers killed. = They dream of growing up to revenge their deaths = Children threw rocks at convoys or patrols + Work as spotters for AQ Contractors and carry automatic weapons. = Children BECOME TARGETS. Vehicles carrying corpses to be buried commonly included the corpses of children.
Soldiers and Marines often throw URINE bottles from inside their vehicles at children begging for water along the road. I remember hearing over the radio some higher-up saying, ‘You are authorized to shoot children.’” Some days children were to be courted and on other days threatened. People who carry weapons in armed units have a terrifying God-like power to humiliate = Demand unquestioned obedience or Die. Civilians with NO weapons live in states of unrelenting terror and powerlessness and seek to become invisible and avoid contact. = “When the elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers.” = Militia would WIN A FIGHT and take everything and then be defeated by a new militia who would come in hungry, hungry to steal, hungry to rape. They would take everything = ALL OUR FOOD. ALWAYS A NEW MILITIA! = NIGHT RAIDS ON CIVILIAN HOMES = TRAUMATIZED CHILDREN WILL NEVER FEEL SAFE AGAIN! = LIVE FOR REVENGE! = “God, I don’t know what you have planned for me. But I am going back and kill 100 men.” Children want LOVE not THE FEAR AND HATE OF WAR!
