HUDSON: Meanwhile, in Western Ukraine, the World Bank supports foreign investors owning the large-scale agricultural land. The World Bank wants to make it easy for business to buy agricultural land + Get rid of Rules against pesticides + Rules against labeling food.

HUDSON: REMARKABLY, in UKRAINE the World Bank is supporting grain production from Western Ukraine that used to be the bread basket of Western Europe BUT ONLY IF Ukrainians SELLS THE LAND TO FOREIGN BUSINESSES.

HUDSON: World Bank wants Western Ukraine to look something like Ireland in the 19th century, when the British overlords owned the Irish land and put grain and sheep on it, getting rid of the people on the land.

FACT: DURING the Irish potato famine Ireland exported English owned grain to England.

HUDSON: Ukraine’s grain lands WILL BE OWNED BY FOREIGN BUSINESSES exporting food Ukrainians cannot afford because of World Bank/IMF are dismantling the Ukrainian economy.

AUGUST 2014: DR. MICHAEL HUDSON: It is not in the news that Senate bill, 2277 = Directed the U.S. Agency for International Development to begin guaranteeing loans for the fracking of oil and gas in the Ukraine. And Vice President Biden’s son has become the head of the biggest fracking company in the Ukraine. The armies from Kiev are marching into Eastern Ukraine to protect the fracking operations. But the Cities in Eastern Ukraine want local control over the fracking. People in the city of Sloviansk oppose shale gas being developed because it destroys their ground water supply and farm land.

HUDSON: Imagine if Obama-Biden send troops into upstate New York which opposes oil/gas drilling, and bombed Rochester and Buffalo and shooting opponents of fracking. Keiv is doing that in Eastern Ukraine supported by the World Bank to try to make Ukraine independent gas imports from Russia. Kiev planned destruction in Eastern Ukraine is to divert major water flows flow into Yalta and Crimea to starve them and end agriculture in favor of fracking.

HUDSON: Meanwhile, in Western Ukraine, the World Bank supports foreign investors owning large-scale agricultural land. The World Bank wants to make it easy for business to buy agricultural land + Get rid of Rules against pesticides + Rules against labeling food.

HUDSON: But the neighboring Czech Republic, the Netherlands, France, Germany, oppose and halted shale gas drilling because it destroys the groundwater. Another problem is that Europe opposes these pesticides. Ironically Ukraine following the World Bank’s directions gets rid of the restrictions on agricultural pesticides and makes it impossible to export its crops to Europe.

HUDSON: The World Bank since 1945 has opposed countries growing food crops for themselves (Latin America and Africa) and instead export plantation crops and then buy their food from USA corporate farms. REMARKABLY, in UKRAINE the World Bank is supporting grain production from Western Ukraine that used to be, the bread basket of Western Europe BUT ONLY IF Ukrainians SELL THE LAND TO FOREIGN BUSINESSES.
